The city of Santa Clara was incorporated in the mid 1800s although it was founded in 1777. Historians point out that it is the sight of more than one third of the 21 California missions. Recent census data puts Santa Clara’s population at about 117,000 residents. The demographics are predominantly Caucasian although 16% of residents self identify as Hispanic or Latino. The city also has small percentages of Pacific Islander, Asian, Native American and African American residents as well.
Santa Clara is centered in the middle of Silicon Valley. Like many neighboring communities it is home to countless high technology companies. This includes but is not limited to NVIDIA, Intel and Agilent Technologies.
Residential streets, neighborhoods and business corridors are patrolled regularly by members of the Santa Clara Police Department.

The Santa Clara Police Department is currently led by Chief Kevin Kyle. He consistently stresses the importance of officers working with and maintaining open lines of communication with members of the community. Kyle invites all residents and guests to voice their concerns and needs. This, he said, will help officers better serve those they have been charged with protecting.
When someone is arrested within the area patrolled by the Santa Clara Police Department they will be taken to one of the Santa Clara county jails to be booked and processed into the system. This often takes between 4 and 6 hours. During this time their bail will be set based on the nature and severity of the crime they are being charged with. The cost to purchase bail bonds will be 10% of that total amount. If you are unable to pay up front in full be sure to ask your bondsman if they can help you with a payment plan.
If you need help getting someone out of jail fast call Adelante Bail Bonds now at 408-899-5755. Payment plans are available to those who qualify. Consultations are always free.
