Members of the Los Gatos Police Department have responded to variety of calls in the past several weeks. Many have related to auto burglary, vandalism, and a wide variety of theft.
At least five incidents of petty theft were reported via the internet. The first was from a vehicle on May Avenue, the second was from a business on Pollard Road and three more were reported at a business on Glen Ridge Avenue the following day.
Two incidents of vandalism have taken place since the beginning of the month. The first was on Blossom Glen Way and the second was at an undisclosed location. It is unclear whether the damage has been rectified.
Two residents called the Los Gatos Police Department to indicate they had found bikes on their property that did not belong to them. Officers have not said whether the bikes have been returned to their rightful owners.
Auto burglary incidents have been numerous. Several were reported online while others were called in. Car windows were broken, doors were pried open and personal items of value have been taken. It is not known if any of the stolen items have been recovered.
Police have reportedly confirmed that two vehicles were called in as stolen. The first theft took place on Belhaven Drive and the next took place on Topping Way just a few hours later. Officers have not said whether they believe the events are related. Anyone with additional information is asked to call the Los Gatos Police.
