The following incidents were reported as part of the most recent Los Gatos Police Department crime log.
Automobile burglaries are on the rise. Several items were reported stolen from several parked vehicles on Pinehurst Avenue on Feb. 1. An assault was also reported later that evening. No major injuries were reported. It is unclear if anyone involved in the fight was taken into custody.
A number of DUIs were also called in. The first took place on Feb. 2 on Los Gatos Boulevard and the second took place on Feb. 3 on Union Ave. Both drivers were arrested and booked into the San Jose Jail.
Police were also called to investigate a series of residential burglaries. The first took place on Pollard Road. The victim said a motorcycle and other personal property were unlawfully removed from their home. Officers have not disclosed what type of items were stolen in the latter two crimes. The suspects remain at large. Persons who are arrested and charged with residential burglary will be transported to the local jail to undergo booking. Their bail will likely be set in excess of $15,000 each.
Officers also responded to reported incidents relating to grand theft and vandalism. Two other men were arrested and booked due to having outstanding warrants. Bail information for these defendants was not immediately available. Both are still in custody at the San Jose Jail in lieu of unknown bond amounts.
