Representatives from the Santa Clara Sheriff’s Department said they have successfully captured two men who are believed to be responsible for a series of residential burglaries. The most recent incidents took place approximately one week ago.
Santa Clara Sheriff’s Department dispatchers said they received several calls from residents who saw a suspicions man in the area. When squad cars arrived to the scene one neighbor flagged it down. They said a group of unknown men was seen trying to gain unlawful entry to a home several blocks away. Deputies drove to the described location to investigate. The men were spotted but fled the scene of the crime.
During that same time another concerned resident placed a call saying they were observing a burglary on Kosich Drive. The burglars had left by the time deputies arrived but investigators were able to collect evidence from within the home. The first suspect was tracked down and arrested a few days later. Defendant Quang Ho has been charged with possession of burglary tools, conspiracy, attempted burglary and burglary. He is currently being held at the Santa Clara County Jail on an undisclosed bail amount.
The second suspect is reportedly described as being a 17 year-old juvenile. Officers have not released his name or charges based on his age.
