A man who has been accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars-worth of iPads and iPhones from a local retailer has been booked at the Santa Clara Main Jail.
The incident happened in early-July, according to a report by Kron4.com, when police were notified about a burglary-in-process at a cellphone store. When they arrived, they found the store had been broken into and that roughly $50,000 in Apple products had been stolen.
During the course of their investigation police were able to identify a suspect. When they arrived at the suspect’s home they found the suspect, the stolen goods, several thousand dollars and a loaded firearm.
The suspect, who has since been identified as 29-year-old Loi Tran was arrested and taken to the San Jose Jail for booking. Anyone who believes they have information that could aid prosecutors is asked to contact the Concord Police.
